My complaints from the University

¡Hi!

Today I am going to talk about some complaints I have about my university. They will be some things I would change to make the course of study easier, motivate learning and prepare students for the working world.

The first thing that I would eliminate is all yearly classes, so students won´t have to wait a year to take the next course and fall further behind. I would also try to give more flexibility to the curriculum, as some semesters have many subjects (7 or 8) and others have 3 or 4, this may vary depending on what you fail, decreasing or increasing the workload more.

I believe that attendance at theoretical classes (for example lectures or seminars) should not be compulsory, but yes to practical classes (exams, controls, laboratories) and assistantship classes. In addition, the faculty´s web page will publish the schedule, the classroom, and the professor of all the courses of each career, so that the information can be easily found and whoever wants can attend as a listener. And if for X reason a classroom is not usable, it will be immediately and permanently reassigned.

To finish talking about classes, I would eliminate the rotation of professors in the same semester (the first half of the period the class is taught by one teacher and the second half by another).

In terms of infrastructure, it is necessary to add terraces with transparent roofs in different areas, to provide more space in the rainy season in the addition to classrooms, the library, the dining room, and the workshop. And the rooms should have more chairs for left-handed or ambidextrous people.

Finally, it will be good to have Internet via Wifi in other places besides the library and the computer lab, for example, classrooms, study rooms, and dining rooms (places where students study).

thanks for reading.
